Bias Binding Tutorial
I’m happy to share the first of many tutorials here at SIYS. When preparing for my class on open arm chairs for the Slipcover Summit, I had the chance to play around with using bias binding. Before that, I had not used bias binding in my slipcovers, and my experiences in using them in clothing were not very successful.
But this time around after finding a bias tape maker from Clover I had great success. So, I’ve put together this tutorial to share with you. I know you will find this to be very informative and useful.
I would love to hear your opinions and suggestions.

Angie, just checked out the invisible zipper tutorial. Iam going to try your method. Made 2 pillows with a different techique before. I love invisible zippers. I want to try them in slipcover application. Could not open the bias binding link nor the gathered skirt link. Great job with what you have here.
Gina, I share your love of invisible zippers. Once you get a method for putting them in, they go really fast. Do come back and let me know how it goes.
And thanks for the heads up on those other tutorials. I will get them fixed and get back to you.
Hi again Angie,
Also having the same problem with your tutorial for bias binding. Cannot access it.
